This product effectively combines three components into one highly efficient roof insulation system and is probably the contractor's and architect's best choice when a fast installation is needed.
The product consists of a 6.5mm thick exterior grade plywood deck, polyurethane foam core insulation and an aluminium foil vapour check.
It is manufactured in sheets 1200mm by 2400mm and in a choice of thicknesses. All the components are autohesively bonded together avoiding the use of any adhesive that might later cause roof failure. This composite is effectively a roofing system all on its own. It is particularly convenient and useful for refurbishment work where a new roof has to be installed as quickly as possible.
The boards can be used on flat, sloping or pitched roofs and once fixed, provide a lightweight pre-insulated deck, ready to receive most built-up felt weather proofing, and single-layer systems.
The products mentioned earlier are usually available in conjunction with PIR, PUR, Polystyrene and Glass Fibre. Boards are manufactured in standard sizes 600m x 1200mm or 1200mm x 2400mm or thickness up to 120mm.
