The most widely specified in the range is STANDARD ROOFBOARD (PUR), which consists of a closed cell polyurethane foam core with bitumen roller-coated glass fibre tissue facings on each side, autohesively bonded to the foam during manufacture.
The HIGHTEMP ROOFBOARD (PIR) is a product similar to the standard board with the exception of its polyisocyanurate core.
ASPHALT ROOFBOARD, also with its PIR core, has plain glass tissue on the topside and, like the Hightemp board, is designed for use under asphalt.
The FOIL ROOFBOARD, which is available in both PUR and PIR, is used where higher thermal values are required. Both sides of the product, as the name suggests, are coated with an aluminium foil on Kraft backing.
There is also a PUR REBATED BOARD (L-shaped profile), which interlocks for maximum insulation and moisture resistance.
All boards in the range are manufactured to a size of 1200mm x 600mm and in thicknesses ranging from 25mm to 100mm. Foil roofboard is also available in the additional size of 1200mm by 2400mm.
